Kamloops Rugby Club kickstarting junior boys' program, looking for men and women to join Raiders

The Kamloops Rugby Club Raiders are inviting junior boys to play in a fall league.

Registration for the under-17 and under-19 programs will be held before practise on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at about 5 p.m. at Exhibition Park.

A training session will also be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, with start time slated for 5:30 p.m. at Exhibition.

League play will begin on Sept. 8 and run through the end of October.

The schedule has not been released, but the teams will be required to travel to the Coast and practise on Tuesdays in Kamloops.

The cost to play is $225.

Meanwhile, the KRC men and women are preparing for another B.C. Rugby Union campaign and looking for new members.

Practices, which begin on Aug. 13, will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Exhibition.
