Kamloops Sports Council calls awards audible for pandemic-ravaged 2020

Kamloops Sports Council Awards nominations will be accepted in December of 2021 for athletics accomplishments that occur during 2020 and 2021.

“With almost all sporting activities curtailed this year because of the pandemic, it would have been difficult to choose recipients for 2020,” KSC president Henry Pejril said in a press release.

"But that doesn’t mean we won’t consider athletes who have excelled in 2020 when it comes to our nominations for the 2021 athletic season."

Categories include male and female athlete of the year, university athlete of the year, coach of the year, team of the year, master athlete of the year, sportsperson of the year and international athlete of the year.
