Kamloops Storm earn exhibition wins over Revelstoke

The Kamloops Storm are off to a perfect start in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League exhibition play.

Kamloops has twice played Revelstoke, earning a 3-2 victory on Friday at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre and topping the hometown Grizzlies 5-1 on Thursday.

Devin Benson, Brendan Mucha and Brett Mero tallied for the Storm on Friday in support of goaltender Ryan Dusseault, who stopped 23 shots in a winning effort.

The Storm have two games remaining on their exhibition slate.

Chase will play host to the Storm on Nov. 6, with game time slated for 7 p.m. at Art Holding Memorial Arena.

Kamloops will play host to North Okanagan on Nov. 7. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Mac Isle.

The regular season begins for Kamloops on Nov. 13, when Chase comes to town. Game time is 7 p.m.

Current gathering size restrictions in B.C. do not allow for spectators, but games can be seen on hockeytv.com.
