Curtis also won bronze in solo and placed fourth in figures and Liebe was fifth in solo and eighth in figures.

Kiera Fawcett placed fourth and fifth in junior free solo and technical solo, respectively.

Curtis, Liebe and Fawcett have qualified to compete at the Canadian championships trials, which will run from March 23 to March 29 in Markham, Ont.

The three swimmers, along with Sunrays’ head coach Tina Naveri, have been selected to join the Team B.C. Ignite Gold Program, with B.C. Artistic Swimming.

Naveri will be an assistant coach for the provincial squad, which will compete at the Sync Competition in July in Calgary.

The Sunrays will play host to their Spring Water Show from noon to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre in the TCC.
