Kamloops/Vernon rink qualifies for junior curling provincials

Team McGillivray, composed of curlers from Vernon and Kamloops, has qualified for the 2019 BC Junior Curling Championships, which will be held from Dec. 27 to Jan. 1 at the Vernon Curling Club.

Megan McGillivray, Jaelyn Cotter, Katelyn McGillivray and Cassidy Schwaerzle earned a berth at the women’s provincial championship by winning the Thompson-Okanagan playdown in Osoyoos last weekend.
