In 2019, Olfert represented Manitoba at the Canada Cup and the Western Canada Summer Games, at which it placed second.

“Throughout the past year, I’ve heard great things about TRU’s volleyball team, coach and education,” Olfert said in a TRU Sports Information press release. “I’m super excited to become a part of their program.”

WolfPack men’s volleyball head coach Pat Hennelly said Olfert has potential to be among the top setters in Canada West.
