Rockets edge Blazers in Kelowna

Alex Swetlikoff scored the game-winning goal for the hometown Kelowna Rockets on Saturday in a 4-3 victory over the Kamloops Blazers.

Jake Poole, Dillon Hamaliuk and Kyle Crosbie also scored for Kelowna, which went with Roman Basran between the pipes.

Logan Stankoven, Ryan Hughes and Orrin Centazzo tallied for the Blazers. Dylan Garand backstopped the Blazers and stopped 35 shots in a losing effort.

B.C. Division standings: Kamloops (14-7), Vancouver (11-9-1-1), Kelowna (10-8-1-1), Victoria (10-7-1-0) and Prince George (4-15-0-2).
