Storm riding three-game winning streak, will host Wranglers on Sunday

The Kamloops Storm knocked off the hometown Princeton Posse 2-1 in double overtime on Friday.

Tournament Capital product Carter McLellan nabbed the OT winner to give Kamloops its third consecutive victory.

Chase Cooke of Merritt opened the scoring for the Posse in the second period.

Yewta Plamondon scored with 27 seconds remaining in the third period to send the game to OT.

Jakob Drapeau made 29 stops to pick up the victory between the pipes for the Storm (9-16-0-1), who will play host to the 100 Mile House Wranglers on Sunday.

Game time is 5 p.m. on Sunday at Memorial Arena.

Doug Birks Division standings: Revelstoke (37 points), Chase (34 points), 100 Mile House (27 points), Kamloops (19 points) and Sicamous (17 points).
