Work began in March of 2020. Sun Peaks Resort LLP, Tourism Sun Peaks and Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality have combined to ensure local businesses have the tools and resources required to safely re-open, according to a Tourism Sun Peaks press release.

These protocols remain in place and continue to evolve in accordance to the Provincial Health Office.

Tourism Sun Peaks applied for the SafeTravels Stamp on behalf of independent businesses, which include Sun Peaks Resort LLP.

The application evaluated the operational safety and hygiene practices in Sun Peaks to ensure all protocols aligned with the WTTC’s Global Safe Travels Protocols.
