Thompson Blazers earn split in B.C. Major Midget League play

The Thompson Blazers will be in Langley this weekend for a pair of B.C. Major Midget League hockey games against the Valley West Giants (1-4-1).

Thompson (2-4) earned a split against the Greater Vancouver Canadians (4-2) on the Coast last weekend, falling 5-3 on Sunday before bouncing back with a 4-1 victory on Monday.

Recording points for the Blazers were Jarrod Semchuk (2G, 1A), Ashton Taylor (2G, 1A), Logan Stankoven (2G), Luke Bateman (1G), Brendan Moseley (3A), Aidan Sutter (3A), Peyton Kelly (1A), Taylor Howard (1A), Cole Howaniec (1A), Connor Milburn (1A) and Brendan Kirschner (1A).

Adam Niles was between the pipes on Sunday. Kobe Grant got the call in net on Monday.
