With one weekend remaining on its Canada West schedule, the TRU WolfPack women’s soccer team is still hunting for its first victory of the campaign.

The Fraser Valley Cascades swept the Pack on the weekend at Hillside Stadium, winning 3-1 on Saturday and 3-0 on Friday.

"The key for us is that we have to remember this is a process,” WolfPack women’s soccer head coach Mark Pennington told TRU Sports Information. “We have to remember where this program has come from and where we are trying to go and it's not going to happen overnight."

Harneet Dadrao (2), Hannah Gamble (2), Alanna Sydenham and Brittany Costa found the old onion bag on the weekend for the visitors, the Abbotsford-based squad that improved to 2-4-2.

Katie Gleddie’s marker on Saturday was her first goal for TRU (0-8-2).

The post-season is out of reach for TRU, which will wrap the season with matches against the hometown UNBC Timberwolves on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.
